Woodland Walks
Our 3 – 5 year old children enjoy their Woodland Walks along the local nature trail that passes by our very nursery. There is always much to discover and explore during our nature walks.
Spanish Classes
Our 3-5 year old children are given the opportunity to explore another language through weekly Spanish classes which are included in our nursery fees. Our Spanish Teacher educates our children through engaging activities and songs.
Nursery Teacher
We are lucky to have our own Nursery Teacher who works closely with our children and their key workers to ensure that children make good progress within all aspects of their development in readiness for school.

Bi-Lingual Staff
We are lucky to have bi-lingual staff who are able to support children in their first language, or in exploring new languages. This helps children settle well into nursery and provides opportunity to celebrate children's cultures and heritage. We currently have staff fluent in Spanish and French.
Eco Schools
Eco Schools is the largest sustainable schools programme in the world and is designed to encourage action on sustainable development education issues. We love getting involved in Eco Schools projects and learning about how to protect the environment.
Christmas Shows
We celebrate Christmas by putting on a wonderful Christmas show for friends and family each year. There's always much excitement in preparing for the show as we learn songs and organise our special dress ups.

Fundraising Activities
Taking part in fundraising activities helps our children to learn about others that are less fortunate than themselves and understand how we can help them. Fundraising events are good fun and are a great way to get children, families and communities together. We are currently fundraising for Yorkhill Children’s Hospital.
Settling in Sessions
Our nursery offers settling in sessions. Parents can bring their child for a couple of hours first, gradually introducing the child to a new environment. Settling in sessions are aimed at helping your child to adapt to their new surroundings and becoming more familiar with the staff and other children.
Special Festivals
Our nursery encourages children to celebrate festivals throughout the year. This is one of the best ways for children to learn about different religions and cultures by celebrating various world religious festivals, food tasting from different countries, and dressing up in the national dress of their friends.

Community Outings
Our nursery enjoys great ties with our local community and we are often out and about visiting local sights and getting involved in events.
Football Lessons
Football lessons give our little ones a chance to learn about teamwork, develop movement skills and have a good kick-around outdoors!
Parent Communication
In recognition that education begins in the home, we are fully committed to a partnership approach with parents. Parents are kept up to date with monthly newsletters, parent focus groups and parent’s evenings. Parents are also able to keep up to date with activities going on in the nursery by following our group social media accounts; Our Facebook, Happitots Twitter and Happitots Instagram.

Nursery Uniform
We offer a nursery uniform for preschoolers, helping to make the weekday routine a little simpler for busy families.
Graduation
We celebrate the big move to primary school with a special graduation ceremony each year—caps, gowns, the works!
Delivery Acceptance
We accept your courier deliveries to make things that little bit easier for busy parents.
